The dress line that is particular about elegance without using the oyster case, which is the biggest feature of Rolex, is Cellini.
Although it is not as well known as the dress line and sports models of Oyster cases such as Datejust, it has a long history and was born in 1928.
The name "Cerini" comes from a person named Benvenuto Cellini, an Italian engraver of the Renaissance period in the 16th century.
The fact that this Cellini is the only one in the Rolex collection that has the name of a particular person means that this Cellini has a unique standing position.
The material of the case is Cellini, which is produced only in gold or platinum, but there are countless variations in the combination of the case, dial and hands.
This watch is a round case Ref.5112, manufactured in 1995.
The case is made of 18K yellow gold and has a narrow edge.
The case size is 31mm, but it doesn't look as small as the numbers because the dial is large enough. In addition, it is very thin because it uses a hand-wound 2-needle movement.
The dial is a silver dial with a sunray finish. It's in very good condition.
This combination is rare because many YG case models have a champagne gold dial that is the same color as the case.
The needle is a thin gold bar hand. If you look closely, it has a slightly chevron shape. The
index is the same bar type as the needle, but it has a multi-faceted cut and looks a little black depending on the angle.
Only the crown logo is applied (typesetting) so that you can casually identify it as a Rolex when exposed to light. The
movement is equipped with a hand-wound Cal.1602.
I matched the black leather strap.
Comes with the same 18K yellow gold genuine buckle as the case.
Stainless steel buckles and gold-plated buckles are often seen, but YG innocence is rare.
Also, this watch comes with a box and warranty card at the time of sale. I think that a set with accessories along with a buckle is extremely rare.
The watch has been completely serviced by our watchmaker before listing.
The case has been polished in the service.
